In this exhibition Berlin based artist Katrin Plavčak wants to create with her paintings, collages, an hairy object, a mobile and a pavilion with flags the realm of mother.
Mothers dreams, her house and her desires….constellations and relations between all involved are on display.
A row of small portraits talk about the people who stepped over the doorsill into her house and of her offsprings.
Her many faces changing like the weather, the images we project on this woman we think to know best, the broken expectations, when we are the old children and she is taking off.
Other paintings want to grab the psychologic circumstances which work behind the loving face we call Mama. Mama laughing. Mama ruling. Mama drunk.
